Noosa Florist

Wedding Florist and Flower Arrangements

Welcome to Noosa House of Flowers wedding consultancy. At Noosa House of Flowers our designers are specialists in weddings - that’s what they do best.

We combine our formal qualifications in floristry with specialized wedding experience to bring to you unparalled expertise in creating your dream wedding flowers. All of our bouquets are created individually and as no two are ever the same, you can be assured that your bouquet will be unique and created for you alone. After 9 years in business, we have over 400 wedding bouquets to our credit and 400 happy brides and grooms.

As soon as you have chosen the bridesmaids colours you are ready to make an appointment with one of our consultants. Allow approximately half an hour to discuss your needs. We will ask you how you wish to carry your bouquet – one hand, both hands, trailing or upright, we will then guide you through choices such as colour, scent, texture and type of flowers.

Our floral designer will help you to choose flowers that reflect your personality, suit you and the occasion. From there we will create a one-off designer bouquet for especially for you.

Flowers are among one of the most important visual elements of your wedding day and should compliment, not overpower either your wedding dress or your attendants' dresses.

  • Flowers are a focal point on your wedding day, and regardless whether you are working with a small or large budget, flowers should be given high priority. An experienced wedding specialist will be able to suggest innovative ideas to give the most impact for your budget and remember sometimes less is more.

  • It is important that you use a professional florist to create your wedding-day flowers, particularly if you want visual impact and arrangements that will last.

  • Ensure you book your floral designer well in advance of your wedding day as good designers are often fully booked throughout the spring and summer.

    Arrangement Examples;

  • Bright and funky- usually a dramatic look with exotic blooms and foliage, sometimes incorporating vines, berries, seed pods and fruits.

  • Fresh from the garden or soft and romantic - a bouquet of perfumed cottage flowers such as lavender, freesias, roses, or hyacinths finished with fresh violet, strawberry or fragrant geranium leaves.

  • The formal bunch - This style usually comprises of one flower type such as roses, gerbras, tulips, calla lilies or oriental lilies.

  • Sophisticated elegant posy - A wired posy of cymbidium or dendrobium orchids, frangipani or phalaenopsis orchids finished with a ribbon bound handle sometimes incorporating crystals or pearls to co-ordinate with your wedding gown.

Remember that it is not just the bride's bouquet you need to worry about. You need to get flowers for:
  • Bride, bridesmaids and flower-girls.
  • Groom, groomsmen best-men and page boys.
  • Mothers and grandmothers of both the bide and groom.
  • Fathers, Grandfathers, Ushers, Toast-Master or Master of Ceremonies.
  • Flowers for the ceremony and reception.
